Rules for accessing Murmur and sharing interactive audio responsibly

1. Adult-only environment

Murmur is strictly for adults. You must be at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to access the site, create an account, or open any shared listening link. Any use by minors is strictly prohibited.

2. Content and Consent

You are solely responsible for any audio material you upload. You must hold all necessary rights and have obtained explicit, informed consent from every participant heard or depicted in your content.

Prohibited content includes: non-consensual intimate material, recordings made without permission, deceptive deepfakes, or any content that violates the privacy or intellectual property of others.

3. Interactive Player & Links

Murmur provides private, interactive playback. You may not attempt to download, scrape, or redistribute the raw audio files. Private links are intended for a specific audience; circumventing access controls, expiry limits, or single-use protections is a violation of these terms.

4. Analytics & Ownership

Creators own the rights to their uploaded audio. Murmur generates and retains ownership of the interaction analytics (gestures, retention, heatmaps) produced during listening sessions, providing creators with a license to use this data for their release decisions.

5. Account Termination

We reserve the right to remove content or terminate accounts for any violation of these terms, including suspected non-consensual uploads, copyright infringement, or attempts to compromise platform security.
